we got them from KippotCenter.com

we got black suede ones with silver trim. they came out very nicely.

one thing somebody told me when i was looking (not sure how true it is) was that black suede is best because it doesn't give off any reflection for pictures. It also doesn't slip off your head as easily as satin would.

again, not sure about the validity of these

ETA: the kippot looked very nice, but i ahd some issue with the shipping (they originally said it would take one month ... after 2 months, i hadn't heard anything so i contacted customer support and only then did the order get processed and shipped) ...so just make sure to be on top of them if you order from there

My great aunt is making ours (sorry, that's not helpful). What color are you thinking of getting? We're debating... I prefer darker ones but FH thinks we should get white for the wedding.

I think I want dark purple, since that is our main color. I like the knit ones the best, or maybe suede. I'm not a fan of the shiny ones.
