If anybody is taking yaz , i really need your advice now I got a prescription for yaz today, and if I decide to start on it, I have to do it tomorrow ( first Sunday after period).
I am really confused I want to get my eriod under control and not have it on my wedding day, but I am also scared if it is going to screw up my body cycle
Please tell me what kind of side affects( if any) you had while on yaz.
TIA!

Re: Yasmin/Yaz question..pls help>>>>>>>>
My doc switched me to YAZ about 3 months ago and although my period is only 3 days, I am calling him monday to ask to give me something else. I think it is making me psycho!! I am always moody and nasty lately. I have felt nothing but miserable since he put me on this one. BUT I do know a few people who like it....so I guess it depends on how your body reacts to it.

I agree! I started yaz in january and have not had any problems. It has actually helped with my mood swings and other PMDD symptoms. I will say that you have to really be diligent about taking them around the same time daily, because the hormone level is very low and if you miss one, you are bound to have breakthrough bleeding (As I am currently experiencing ). I also like the fact that I have not gained any weight (no increase in appetite) with Yaz as I have had with other pills I have been on (ortho, Ortho tri-lo). I take my pills at night before bed (keep it right by next to my alarm clock, so I don;t forget.... I forget however this time because I was on call and forgot to pack my pills )

I started taking Yaz 2 months ago and I haven't noticed anything different, neither has FH. I did have some spotting and my boobs were really sore the first month, but after my period I was fine.
