this morning I finally booked the romantic weekend getaway for our anniversary that I've been talking about and trying to plan for over a month now... so we're officially going!
We're going to this place: www.saratogarose.com
It's upstate, sort of between Saratoga and Lake George. They have a hot tub in the room and a fireplace... and a gourmet restaurant downstairs... and complementary full breakfast... And because it's going to be off season (we're going in early April) we get their off-season two night package - 15% off any time we eat in their restaurant, and a complementary bottle of champagne in the room.
And doesn't it look beautiful?
It's going to be SO nice to finally get away for a few days and be able to relax just the two of us. We've never actually gone away together. And I SERIOUSLY need a vacation, I'm completely worn out.
