Yay!!!

FH and I went to contract today for the coop we placed a bid on a few weeks ago!!! Now we have to get board approval and our mortgage, and then it is off to the colsing!!!!!!!! I'm Praying all goes well!!!!!!!!! AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!!!!! lol

I'm very excited!!!

Glen Oaks village. It is on the border of L.I. and Queens, just a hop, skip from LIJ Hospital. Low taxes, and maint is very reasonable

ya know i just went to an open house last week over there! they have awesome looking coops!!!!

Yes! and they allow you to build a dormer extention to make more room if you have a 2nd floor apt, and if you have a first floor, depending if the basement is available, you can reclaim the basement and make it into living space!

We went to look over there in the summer also. It is a great area. The dormer situation is one of the reasons we looked into Glen Oaks. You should have no problems getting in. I love it there, but FH really wants a house instead. Congrats and good luck
