Yay!!!!!

FH and I officially opened our first joint savings and checking account today! I know its corny to be excited about it, but its nice to know that I'm with someone who I am comfortable enough with to be able to share our money....its a first for me!

Congrats!!! I cant wait to do it with FH. We went to open one together but there was some problem that FH has to clear up with another bank. Til then its ALL MINE.. Mwah ha ha ha!

Awww I was so excited the first account we opened together too, but it was like 1 1/2 after we started dating. FH is TERRIBLE with money, and I was tired of getting his late notices from his mother. So we went out, opened a joint account, and now I take care of everything. (I work at the bank so it's not to bad)

Congrats!! We opened a joint savings after our eparty to deposit all our checks. We kept our separate checking account though and I think we probably will do so even after the wedding, otherwise my whole paycheck will probably end up going to Xbox games

Congrats. Me and my FH have been making plans to do that but have been so lazy...lol...I think we are going to go on Wednesday when we both get off of work. Hopefully we will actually go through with it that day. Congrats again. Its exciting.

woohoo congrats. that was so exciting for us too!! It was like... WOAH.. this is really happening.

we still have our separate accounts for now. but our eparty money went into the joint.

It was so cute... We wanted to put our $ from our eparty in a CD and FH said that he was going to go but he didnt want to do anything without my approval... awwww... i told him please do because i know nothing about those things!

Fh and I want to do this but right now we are considering a money market instead. We really need to decide since the money sitting in my account likes to be sppent more than it enjoys waiting on small amounts of interest.
