My job just announced that we get a 1/2 day next wednesday (day before thanksgiving)!!!!!!!!!
yay!!!!!!! I get to leave at 1pm!!!

We usually get to leave early the day before and the day after Thanksgiving. I hope this year's the same!!!

We get half day Wednesday and off on Thursday adn Friday...this year I am off until the following Tuesday because I will be in teh Bahamas!

Yeah i actually just had half a day this past friday since we had off monday...whenever we have monday off we have half a day friday...and then holidays like thanksgiving that are on a thursday or another day of the week we have half a day the day before

I have to work until 5. It SUX! I'm jealous!
I work at a law school and the students don't have classes on Wednesday but the offices have to stay open until 5. We r closed on Black Friday though.

Yes, my company does that too. We get to leave early for all holidays like Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend. We also have the day after thanksgiving off. I also get the week between Christmas and New Years!

I think I'll be getting out early on Wed -- maybe at 3 or 4 though, we work 9-6 so they never give us more than 3 hours off ... and then on Friday I think my boss (I work in a satellite office of sorts) will tell me to take off without actually putting in for it, because I have to work on Sunday for a little while.

i get that week off too in december! i also took the week before christmas off....so it works out that in December I will only work 2 weeks!!!

i get that week off too in december! i also took the week before christmas off....so it works out that in December I will only work 2 weeks!!!

If we have the next day off- we usually get a 1/2 day (not official, but our director is cool about it). We have Friday off too- so hopefully an almost 5 day holiday!!!

FH works Friday and he's working OT on Saturday. I'm okay with all the OT since we have a wedding to pay for lol. I know you girls will kill me, but I want A LOT of snow this year because that means FH works OT. I will be doing the snow dance all winter

Every place I have ever worked up til now has always let us out 1/2 day before any holiday...
This is the first company that doesn't seem to believe in it.
