Sounds ordinary, but he's been looking and applying EVERYWHERE, and he was hired today!
He's put so much work into it, and now it's finally paying off.
He'll be teaching 4th grade in Nassau. (about 45 minute drive from us, but hey, it's a JOB!)
SOOOO happy for him!
ok ok... I'm a little happy for ME too- this means I finally get a 'real' e-ring! I've been wearing a white gold band for a couple months- I was promised a diamond when things were 'in order' - and it's coming! YAY!

And Felicia - no looking necessary! I've known what I want since I'm 16! and I posted on BHB about antiquey e-rings last week - everyone posted theirs ----- so nice!!! My family jeweler in the Bowery is going to make a ring for me, it's a Tacori lookalike, at a fraction of the price. VERY affordable, and VERY VERY VERY nice! Just have to get my butt to the city to make some final decisions and it'll be mine in a couple of months! yay!

Hey, Good Luck Cin! and THANKS for remembering my work too! hehhee, I've never edited so many papers/resumes/etc in my LIFE! He did all the brainwork, I did the legwork - we're a great team!
I know I sound like a spoiled brat about the ring - the truth is I LOVE my white gold band that I have now. I'll continue to wear it because it'll always be the ring that FH used to ask me. It could've been a twist-tie!!! Been together forever, now I'll have a diamond to last me the rest of 'forever'!
