Ok well for a couple of months now, our plan was to go to vegas and then tahiti. But I have always been concerned that we wouldn't have alot to do in tahiti. The problem with Fh and I is that we don't like to lay out in the sun, after 20 mins he gets antsy and bored, and i can do maybe an hour. Tahiti is great for people who do love laying out in the sun relaxing.
So anyways i was talking before with FH about a tahiti honeymoon review i read on here yesterday and how beautiful it looked, and then mentioned the few restaurants but the whole not much to do thing came up again. He said to me that he also has been concerned about this and thinks there wont be alot for us to do. So i saw it as a great opportunity to throw Europe in the convo, which i had done before but he always had no interest and he said yes ... I brought up going to Capri, and a few places in Italy and the greek islands, and he said we should consider this I think for us its more of our speed, theres lots to do, a big nightlife especially in greece. Plus I love history and these are two great places to go for that.
I still think tahiti is absolutely gorgeous, but for us i think this is a better option. Plus capri, and greek islands should be gorgeous too lol...Ive also always wanted to go to the french riviera so ill just have to look into all these places

Yeah I definitely think we would love it, its gorgeous, know so many people who have went, well as you know im from astoria so almost everyone i know went to greece all the time lol. It is alot more our speed, im also european so i know the lifestyle there. The history part is big to me too, i love going to see all these place you always learned about, and seeing historical monuments. Yeah i hear so much about capri, his family absolutely loved it.
Well sounds like your FH has alot of great plans for your HM.
Ill def have to get suggestions from you about greece before we go, hott places to hit up
I defintely want to see the historic sites as well. His mom made a good point to us, she said to go to Europe while we are childless, because once we have kids we'll be stuck in the US for a long time. She thinks while we are young and energetic, we should take advantage of going to Europe for a 2 week vacation.

Yeah I think my FH said something like a week or 2 but thats not enough for our HM. You want to take your time and see different places and different sites, bec when is the next time you will be able to go here you know.
ahhh i know thats what i said too, why cant we just be able to take off for a while

FH and I are most definitely going to Italy - his idea! And his reasoning - when else are we going to take two weeks off?? Why waste them on an island - when we can do that in a week? Plus we had no desire to go to Hawaii or Tahiti, Bora Bora, etc... So it would definitely have been wasteful for us...
I hope you convince him to go - it definitely sounds more your speed!

Nope, no idea. I've been there before but when I was in HS... We're going to ask people who've been there many times and are familar, and compile our own itinerary...

Nope, no idea. I've been there before but when I was in HS... We're going to ask people who've been there many times and are familar, and compile our own itinerary...

HAHA I KNEW it would work...but then last night i showed him a bunch of pics of capri and monaco and hotels and he really LOVED IT!!!

Thank you, by any chance are you going to santorini? as of now we are thinking italian and french riviera and maybe a few cities in italy...but we are considering santorini, not 100% sure yet.

We were actually debting on santorini or Mykonos.. and we decided to go to Mykonos instead.
But both island it's only about 30 min ferry ride away i think. So you can actually go to both.
The beaches there are Gorgeous!!!! Can't wait to go.

My cousin was telling me about that place the other day bec she went last year, some islands are so quiet (like mine) and others are non-stop. I love Europe!!! I went to Italy last may. ANd I am going back this november hopefully. But this november will only be to Fh's grandmothers house only for about 1 week. I say I am going just to eat!! You will love it!!! there are so many things to do in Europe and places to go.

yeah i heard of corfu too, it is supposed to be good
Yes, venice is the place with the gondola's.
Other popular italian places are: milan, florence, tuscany, naples, then theres the riviera, capri ana capri, amalfi coast, sardinia

HOnestly Denise..if you go to Europe..You can still hang out by the beach or pool....Greece has beautiful beaches! And then in Greece and Italy you have all the history....

Fh wants Europe and I dont mind that. Amsterdam ( I gotta get info from you on here), Italy, South of France and Santorini I am going to save for our HM, WOW!!!!!! Im planning on Mykonos for this Aug

Something to now consider hmmmmm. I was suppose to go to Italy in Sept but now this marriage thing messed up that trip!
