YAY grandma is coming today

Well we said we're gonna try to get my grandmothers to be here for the wedding. Well one of my grandmothers actually wanted to come sooner and she is arriving today. Its weird because she hasn't been here in 20 years . Shes been by herself since my grandfather died last year and my grandmother hasn't been well for a very long time, since my dad was a young boy so i know this will make things easier. And for some reason fh is real nervous to meet her lol

Just hope my other grandmother can come, but my grandfather can't fly bc of a heart condition and shes a bit afraid to leave him alone

The worst part is that my aunt that ive grown up with and closest to my family went overseas to help her mom with some things and for some reason hasn't come back well from what i see, she has no intentions of coming back soon and no mention of coming for my wedding but whatever.

That's great one of your Grandma's will be here for your whole 'wedding season' since she's coming today... The others who can't travel will be with you in thought. As for your Aunt- I hope everything is OK with her

yeah my aunt is perfectly fine...i just dont know what she is thinking, but none of this surprises any of us. I think shes trying to do some business deals or something

Yes she is staying until the wedding and not sure how much longer after.

Most of my family is overseas in romania...i know i always say how fh's family is big and i have very little family but i mean here. My family is actually HUGE and oh god if they were all here then fh and i would elope bc we'd have around 500 and thats not even exaggerating. My mom's mother has 9 brothers and sisters, and my other grandmother theres 4 sisters and thats just half of it.

oh yeah we hear from her, her daughters which are 20 and 21 years old are still here and have been left to take care of everything and pay the rent and all that and not to mention my uncle lol why he doesn't put his foot down for her to come back, i really don't know...at first she went bc her mother wanted to sell her apartment and my aunt went to help her sell it and well since my aunt paid for it, to get the money back...well my aunt is VERY irresponsible with money and is trying to make back money she owes and things like that. So i know she was trying to do some real estate things which didn't work out and now shes doing some other business deals but it wont work lol i can tell you that. She also owes my parents $18,000 so thats another thing that upsets my parents about what shes doing. My dad gets so upset bc thats his brothers wife

its too expensive for them - so they send a 'representative'

we almost had NO ONE coming when my cousin found out she was pregnant! but her doctor said it was okay.

it is so sad, i have so much family there but they just cant come. . .

but in all fairness we only send one couple to their weddings also. My brother went to two so far so I am going to go to the next one . . . we werent even able to go to my cousin Matilde's wedding bc it was in October and just too close to my wedding
