Well we said we're gonna try to get my grandmothers to be here for the wedding. Well one of my grandmothers actually wanted to come sooner and she is arriving today. Its weird because she hasn't been here in 20 years . Shes been by herself since my grandfather died last year and my grandmother hasn't been well for a very long time, since my dad was a young boy so i know this will make things easier. And for some reason fh is real nervous to meet her lol
Just hope my other grandmother can come, but my grandfather can't fly bc of a heart condition and shes a bit afraid to leave him alone
The worst part is that my aunt that ive grown up with and closest to my family went overseas to help her mom with some things and for some reason hasn't come back well from what i see, she has no intentions of coming back soon and no mention of coming for my wedding but whatever.

my cousin is leaving today, he cant stay for the wedding but wanted to visit but his sister and her husband are coming on dec 30 i cant wait!!!!
oh i am sorry but glad you spent some time with him...you have alot of family coming though, right?
nope its too expensive for them - so they send a 'representative'
we almost had NO ONE coming when my cousin found out she was pregnant! but her doctor said it was okay.
it is so sad, i have so much family there but they just cant come. . .
but in all fairness we only send one couple to their weddings also. My brother went to two so far so I am going to go to the next one . . . we werent even able to go to my cousin Matilde's wedding bc it was in October and just too close to my wedding
i know same situation here, i have so much family there and they would love to come but honestly its just hard...for one its not easy for everybody to get a visa and 2nd it is alot of money. I really wante my moms sister to come but my mom said she would have to pay for her sister and her husband to come and she can't right now. Plus she has 2 kids and one of them is 5 years old so its real hard for them.
Then i have my dad's 1st cousin, so my 2nd cousin lol but i was very close to her. She said shes most likely coming but its also easy for her bc she lived here for a long time but decided to move back a few years ago. Other than that, nobody else really.
Yeah i understand, it does cost alot of money and also being able to take that time off, its not that easy even if you really want to.

yeah we were kinda surprised too, shes the one who asked to come. Like i said earlier shes been sick for a long time, even from when my dad was a young boy so my grandfather always took care of her, and since my grandfather died shes been alone...although since shes been alone she does take better care of herself since she has to but i guess she just doesn't want to be alone anymore
