Putting Adult Only Reception to Follow on Invites?
Our families are not getting no kids at all. They all seem to think theirs are the exceptions.
BUT is it tacky to put it?

If they're not getting it, I would put it on the invite just so theres no confusion! I would su.ck to have to tell people they cant bring their kids personally, putting it on the invite may help you avoid that!

Personally, I wouldn't. I'd tailor your RSVP cards to let guests know exactly who is and who isn't invited.

Yay.
I don't think it's tacky. And even if you do think it's a tad on the tacky side, it'll make your life easier and you'll get what you want in the end.
But again, I don't think it's tacky.

Re: Yay or Nay?
Even if yo write Adult Only Reception to follow?? How do people not get that! Grrr....
I was having a problem with my FSIL b/c she wanted the kids there (my FG and RB) there for cocktail hour and then to get introduced (they will be 5!!!). I am like, nope sorry...they leave after church and family pictures....

If you think it'll do the trick w/ the odd balls who think their kids are invited when their names aren't on the invites, then DO IT. I don't think it's tacky, BUT you might get some phone calls about it.
