Yay! Yay! Picked out my Wedding Cake: Cherry Blossom!!
I ordered my cake today!!! With so many things to do and my wedding coming this August, I was starting to freak out about getting stuff done.
I am such a dessert snob I actually ordered my wedding cake BEFORE my wedding dress!!
i spent today at 3 boutique bakeries, tough life eating cake and flipping through pictures of dessert but some ones gotta do it!
Me and future hubbie dont like the same cake flavors but in the end I won with chocolate cake and oreo butter cream frosting!
We ended up going with a bakery in Brooklyn called sugar coated. I went to a bridal shower last year and absolutely LOVEDDD her cake so I decided to investigate prices and found I can actually afford a designer wedding cake!
I am getting a cherry blossom themed cake! 4 square tiers with really light pink and brown with lots of flowers!
If you want to look at her cakes you can get SO many ideas, it seems like she specializes in theme cakes. I even saw the FUNNIEST groom cakes..i think i am getting a yankee stadium cake for my boy!
