YEAH! Booked Photo and Video! But soooo over budget!!

So Fh and I went back to Sherwood Triart today knowing we would book, but to negotiate on price. They are pricier than other places, but IMO sooooo worth it. So we were trying to get them down on the original package we selected, and ending up picking a more expensive package!!! Between my every growing guest list (that started at 110, and is now up to 150), and my adding 'just a couple of hundred more', we are really going over budget!!! I gotta so be cheap on flowers!!!

IMO-you'll never regret getting great photos! thats the one thing i was willing to go a little over budget on if i knew i was getting a great product. I'm sure they'll be beautiful.

Once you go overboard its soooooooo hard to stop....i made it all the way to invitations (going over budget on everything before) and I swear I will NOT go over on them!!!!

Yeah I still got the florist to do, so we are trying to stay within budget on them! I have to!

Thanks girls!!! They were the only photographer I felt that click with. Like everything with wedding planning you have to wait for the 'I know this is it.'

i rather be cheap on the flowers than the video its the rest of your life right there on video. but im sure whatever you do with flowers will be beautiful!

Congrats thats great. I went to Ken and Eva's Cottage in Brentwood. They have great prices on flowers and they do such a pretty Job. My friend used them for a wedding last year and her BoK and centerpeices were gorgeous.

photos will last a lifetime. that's what i keep telling myself.

so i guess you like Sherwood. Any hints or advice...I'm meeting with them next week. I've only met with Candid Like Life and Perceptions so far. They are both a little on the pricey side as well. I'm figuring that Sherwood will just confuse me more b/c I can't decide which I like the best at this point!!

Yeah! Good for you.

The easiest way to keep the cost down on flowers is to pick an inexpensive type of flower. If you are open to it, low centerpieces are a lot cheaper than high ones.

I'm sure you will make it work. Maybe there is a way to cut out a few small things to make up a little of the difference?

I'm sure you will work it out - budgets are meant to be broken
