My sister wanted this dress. She loved it. When her girls tried it on though, it just did not look right on all of them. Definitely have a backup for them to try on in case.

I'm sorry, but I'm really not a big fan. I just hate dresses with sleeves in general though. If I'm going to be dancing all night then I don't want that extra material holding me back.

I agree with some of the others. Its a really nice classy dress. I wouldnt choose to wear it, but if the bride wanted me to I would. I think it does look more like a mother of the bride dress. If you want something conservative, I would do something with a wrap or the bolero jacket, like someone else posted.

well I think it is alot of material and maybe a little older looking but it is a beautiful dress for your mom or his mom. But remember if you really like it then pick it b/c it's your wedding.

My older sister tried that same dress on (she's in her 40's) this past Sunday and it didn't look right on her. It looks cute on the model and on the hanger, but on the body it was a different story.

My vote is to keep on looking.

Not a fan... But I voted if I had to wear it I would. I wouldnt resist if thats the dress the bride wanted me to wear.

I like the balero/jaket/shawl idea for winter, cause then at the reception its removeable so you are less restricted.

I agree it is very classy looking, very elegant, and like everyone says, perfect for a winter wedding. if you like it go for it! its good to be a little different!
