So a little background.

My girlfriend lives in California – way up near Davis.

So she has 4 sons. She named the twins Ace and Deuce. She named her 5 year old Spade. She named her 3 year old Maverick.

She finally had a little girl and I spoke to her yesterday to congratulate her. Her new daughter's name is Lucy.

Wiow... really? Lucy? So NORMAL?

So why Lucy? Because it LOOKS like Lucky. And the baby’s middle name is CHARM.

So why wouldn’t you just name her LUCKY?

Wait for it.



“Because Lucky sounds like a dog’s name.”


PS – They don’t call her Lucy – they call her Charm.

bc Ace, Spade and Maverick aren't dogs names, you know???

Totally agree. Everyone HATED Noah's name.

Do me a favor.if you are gonna name your son Ol' Dirty B@stard, please don't name your daughter Lily Kim just because Li'l Kim sounds too much like a hip hop star.

What is wrong with people??? I knew twins named Mickey and Minnie. I work in a predominantly African American and Hispanic district. (Like out of 800 students 20 of them are white, Asian or other..)

Crazy. When we get our student lists at the beginning of the year we cry laughing at some of the names. The spelling is always what really gets me!

We should all name our children adjectives - Beautiful, Gorgeous, Stunning, Amazing and splediferous!

I'm going to name my first kid Fabulous.. to take after her mommy!!!

I wouldn't name my children that, but it's cute!

I told DH that if we ever had a kid I wanted to name him Noah, Micah or Caleb (I am all about Biblical names even though I am 0% religious) and he totally shot me down. He said they were rich people names LOVE that name though!

She was Asian (sorry not so PC - Pacific American? ) Oh whatever - I think she is Korean - very pretty - totally adorable but she is going to a different school this year. SHe was a cute kid, I miss her!

the dog they had with them was 'Matilde' of course

so every time i walked in to my aunt's house i was greeted with a 'Here SHE is. . . Matilde.. . . Matilde. . .THE DOOOOOGGGGG'
