Yesss, it FINALLYYY poured yesterday!!!! w/pics

Hoorayyy I feel like i've been waiting forever for my shower to come lol. Since my fsil was planning mainly the whole thing with my mom, I knew it'd be after her wedding in July. Ever since the weekend she came back from her honeymoon, I have been hoping for it lol, who knew I had to wait another month! It was SOO worth the wait though. The family that I babysit for (in pics the kids are our ring bearers and flower girl) told me they wanted me and FH to come with them to a party to keep an eye on the kids because the dad had been having heart problems (which is true) and she didn't want them to cause him stress since it was mostly an adults only party. I totally believed her until she mentioned the location. It was actually on SI at the south shore country club (I know someone asked if it was DeSeverksy in Laura's thread). This was the place I told FH a year ago that I would love if my shower were here. He has the worst memory though, so I never thought he'd remember but YAY he did!! It was awesome, my mom and fsil did such an amazing job, I couldn't have planned it better myself. I always wanted hot pink and orange and they did good! Also, I really wanted a red velvet cake but the place couldn't do it, soo my mom ended up getting me a personal red velvet cake that went with the theme too, it was delicious and I was so overjoyed. Even though I was semi-aware that it may be my shower (and hoping it was lol), I still cried like a baby, shocking! lol Thank you to my liw girls for trekking out to SI, I really appreciate it so much and had such a wonderful day! Enjoy the pics!!! Oh and my mil is crazy and amazing and got us most of our china place settings and ALLL our bedding, I am still in shock lol. I wanted my bedding and china so badly (fsil got us the rest ) lol Really, one last time, I don't know what I would have done without my fsil, she handled everything and made this my dream shower along with my mom! My mom made me so proud lol For someone who thought she was going to have the worst shower ever with my nonexistent moh/sister, I feel soo lucky and blessed. This all means so much to me and I'm always so excited for other's wedding related things to have a shower planned and to really feel loved made me so thrilled! Blahh I’m such a sap!! Also, FH was going to have Amanda Picone shoot pics at the shower as my wedding gift (I had hinted that I wanted this lol) but she's away at a photography conference in Vegas, oh well!

Oh one last thing I had my first fitting on Saturday and it went great, the dress is beautifulll. I’m going to wait to post pics though once I have my second fitting because they’re changing the neckline to sweetheart and I don’t love the way it looks right now. But still a big hooray!!

were your feet killing you? i just bought these in white for the wedding, and i'm so worried about the high heel...i walked around my apartment in them all last night lol...were they terrible, or not so bad?

Haha yayy thanks, I got it at Bloomingdale's but I'm sure you can find it at any department store. It's Jill Stuart, I got it a longgg time ago, I was obsessed too lol.

Eh they're really not that bad. I would recommend getting those inserts that keep your feet from sliding forward. Either way though they're really not that bad, love them!
