tomorrow is my shower! Though I'm getting mixed signals from people. So it could be Sunday, but it's definitely this weekend!
I didn't think I would be, but I'm getting nervous! There has been a lot of drama early on in the shower planning process and over the past week (even though it's all supposed to be a surprise, certain things can't be kept a secret in this house!) I just hope everything goes smoothly and no one (MOB and MOG) has any problems!!!

thats awesome! my head hurts from trying to figure out mine. FH says its October fourth but he would never tell me the truth...and i think theyd be crazy to do it so close to the wedding...plus my mom said 'i'll see you soon' last time i spoke to her. FMIL put me on the phone with our videographer and he said I should meet him on the 23rd at bridgeview yacht club...FH told me a while ago that we would hafta meet our videographer at 'some place in island park' and that we have to get dressed up a while ago which makes me think its the 23rd...but i dunno...theyre doing a good job of throwing me off...I'm so confused!!!!

oh that's exciting! FH didn't even want to know the date, so he couldn't slip to me. so i know he's not in on it! and at least they are keeping you confused. they hadn't said anything to me, until about 3 days ago (and my mom started cleaning the house like a mad woman!). we are having lunch with a family friend we haven't seen in awhile tomorrow afternoon, but my sister just so happens to be sleeping at her friends tonight to help her set up for a block party tomorrow. but then, my shower dress is still hanging in my room and i joked saying maybe you should take it with you (to my sister) and my mom said no you don't need it tomorrow! so now i don't know!

YAY! I thought mine could have been today, but I got no calls to go anywhere so it's not - but I couldn't sleep last night because of excitement. We have a party to go to tomorrow but I think it's a fake party - I think it's my shower. My MIL and FIL are here this weekend and I thought they were staying until after next weekend - but then they said they are leaving during the week next week - so I think it has to be tomorrow.
However, FH said this morning that his parents told him last night they are here until after next weekend ---- so I have no idea. FH told me it ISN'T this weekend, but he's a fibber and may be trying to throw me off. Who knows???? It's either tomorrow or Aug 17.

So my shower was wonderful. It was at Pomodorino in Seaford. The food and service were excellen! I would highly recommend it for parties or just a night out! Everyone realized I figured it all out, but I was still overwhelmed with seeing everyone. It was so nice to see everyone together and see friends that I hadn't seen in awhile and wasn't expecting to be there. They had 4 games, which was more than enough. They made cd's with the top 10 songs of 1979 and 1980 (the years FH and I were born) and gave bath/shower lotion, gel and loofas as favors. I got MORE than enough gifts! Everyone was sooooo generous! FH and I are set to move into the new apartment!
I will put my pictures up tomorrow b/c I'm just wiped from today! My mom and BMs did a wonderful job with everything! Especially my mom b/c she did a majority of it. FMIL and FSIL weren't much help, which i heard about all along. My mom was upset with them for some things today, but only told me about it later on. It's just who they are and my mom and family aren't like that, but she'll get over it!
Ok, i'm off to bed. It has been a long day! Pictures tomorrow!!!

Some gifts; my friends LB and Kelly (who made my lovely hat and bra from ribbons and bows!), the CDs and bath/shower favors, and chocolates with our picture on it and pens that change sayings for love and marriage that were on the tables.
