Yesterday was the engagement party

The food was good, the company was very good, and everyone got along. The room we rented had no A/C so we had 4 fans circulating air, but it was still too hot. We got a couple presents on our registry. It was nice to see people together. I think a few were a bit disappointed that there was no alcohol (including myself) but oh well, next time.

But now people are pressuring me to have a regular shower. They don't even like the idea of a Jack and Jill party. I told my MOH that I want a Jack and Jill party at this bowling alley FH and I know of. I told her that if FMIL or FSIL try to change it, not to let them and to make sure they know that we are going to do what I want to do. Why can't people understand that not everyone is the same? I DON'T WANT A NORMAL BORING OLD SHOWER!!!

Anyway...I got my delux footspa (it even has a remote control) as a gift so you know what I will be doing when I get home. LOL!

YOU have to do what YOU want to do. YES, you're MOH and FMIL have their own ideas. You have to talk to them again and maybe help them out with ideas and a theme. I think they might feel as though they won't be able to throw it for you if your FH is there! JMO
