Once the inspection is done on the house, how long do you have to sign a contract before the seller is able to pull out of the deal??

there is no set time. it took over 6 weeks for our contract to be drawn and fine tuned.

Until the contract is signed the seller can back out at anytime. That is why, if you want the house badly, it is important to push for contracts to be signed as soon as possible.

yeah, the seller can back out any time up until the contract is signed. It happened to us twice. Rush for contracts if you want a house!
