I asked this b4 but I forgot what we came up with. I'm having my shower in NY but I will be moving 2 FL the day after the wedding, Is it too much trouble to ask for my guest to be shipped to my house in FL or do you think that I should just pay the extra and have them shipped there myself to save ppl the trouble? Another option could be to drive down to Fl with the gifts. The shower is in April and the Wedding is in July.

I think it will be okay to ask to have the gifts shipped. I think that people will totally understand and have done that for other friends from OOT. Just make sure its listed on the registry and only the shower invites just to be sure!
Sure - I've been to a shower where we had to do that exact thing. A lot of people order their gifts from the internet anyway, so it's really no big deal to ship it to FL instead of their house in NY. Just make sure it's written in the invitations.
I dont think its a big deal for the guests to ship it... and then anyone who doesnt u can just drive up with their gifts
