Yet More Invitation Stress

It just dawned on me...with a personalized response card, where it says 'Ms. X & Guest, 2 seats have been reserved...'

The option is Yes, __ of us will attend
No, we are unable to attend

So let's say Ms. X brings her guest, and fills out 2...how do you know the name of the guest???? Like for placecards, thank yous, etc.

Is anyone else doing it this way and has figured out a way around it?

I was just going to write Mr so and so and Guest.

thank yous should be easy because you go according to the cards and hopefully mr so and so didnt write love so and so and guest! ha ha! so you shoudl have the name by then.
