YEY! I bought my dress today!

Shopped in my home state of NJ. Saved money on tax. The original dress I wanted was discontinued and $100 off. They didn't have it in my fatty size. Some how I talked the sales girl into giving me $200 off! I'm so happy. I look awful in the photos, but in real life the dress doesn't look THAT bad on me. I was just glad we got the zipper up without a problem. I'm the biggest size they freakin' make. What a great feeling that is

aww don't sweat it girl! your dress is gorgeous and you are going to look gorgeous in it! I am not considered a big girl but even I have insecurities about my weight because people used to ask if I was pregnant all the time. I'm dieting...not starving myself but lowered my calorie intake to 1500 a day...and any time I think of eating a meal I make a fist...and I say to myself my stomach is only as big as my fist...if I eat any more than a fists worth my stomach will stretch and bulge and I'll be right back to people asking me if I'm preggerz. I lost 10 lbs and that motivated me to keep it up.

you don't want to look like someone you are not on your wedding day but if you are not happy with your self image, you have plenty of time to work on it before the big day.

How sweet are you? I know. Like I'd be happy if I lost 25 lbs even, but I know myself and no matter how hard I diet and work out, I never really go down much. If I can tone my chubby arms and tighten up, I'd be content.

Ha ha, I was getting my nails done at my usual place one day and the woman said 'ahhh you have baby?' in front of all these customers. I was all 'Nope. I'm just FAT.' Ha ha!

I have an LIWeddings girl to thank for that one! We both are originally from LI but living out here and when I told her I was going to my mom's area to shop, she was like 'are you nuts, save on the sales tax!' I was like. 'Duh, good point.' Jersey is good for one thing at least ha ha!

Thanks! I didn't even want a train, I kept saying, 'Do you have anything that's just touching the ground, no train...' Every dress I liked in the catalog had to be ordered - so dumb and then you have to hope it looks good on you. At my size I can't get a true feel for a dress that's 10 sizes too small

I'm just so glad it's over! I didn't want to spend a lot on something I'd never wear again. I'm simple that way.
