yikes!!! i start my new job tomw!

yikes!!! i start my new job tomw!

friday was my last day at my old job....so all i had was this weekend....and now tomw morning i start a newjob!!! yikes!!!..SO NERVOUS!!!!....my sis' graduation is on wed at 4 @ radio city....i'm kinda scared to ask if i can leave at 3:30.....what do u think they'll say?....

i hate to say it, but maybe you should have told them when you were hired that you needed to leave early. maybe tell them first thing tomorrow morning that you didn't realize when the graduation was. maybe offer to make up the time another day...they'll probably say don't worry about it but it makes you look like you're overly responsible.

I would ask them if you can leave a little early since this graduation had been planned for months. I'm sure they won't mind!

I agree... FH and i had a trip to Vegas planned when he started his new job, but he told them at the interview.. that way the new before he was actually hired.. if they had a problem they would hire him... but i would mention it as soon as possible... tell them you'll work through your lunch hour to make up for lost time.
