We have a house!! We closed yesterday. I'm so relieved. Our closing costs even came in below what we thought they would be!
If I had a penny for every time I signed my name yesterday...well, I wouldn't need a mortgage.
Lots of paperwork, lots of money, but it's all worth it!
Good luck this week to all who are closing!

Re: YIPPIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Thanks all...we're in Centereach, near Middle Country Road and Nichols Road.
BTW: Our real estate lawyer was terrific and that says a lot considering the mess he had to clean up. I posted about this about a month ago, but our first lawyer was arrested for practicing without a license and he hadn't done a thing for us that he was supposed to do. If anyone wants his name, let me know. He's in Floral Park.
Anyway, I'm just happy it's over.
