Ahhhhhhhh.....Well it totally ***** that this happedned but unfortunately because of the shape of you invitations the machine probably did that. I HATE to even mention to you that it might not be the only one that got shredded
There is nothing you can do now. Hope for the best. But for all the other brides out there. Take the time to hand stamp your invites so this won't happen!

yeah, i've recently found out that a whole bunch of my STD's, which got sent out in NOVEMBER didn't make it to the people. i have to re-send some of them. what a PITA!

Ugh...that is so annoying!!! I don't understand how that can happen..and then they usually put it in an envelope with a printed letter saying they are sorry...I mean, something getting a little bent, a little corner of the envelope flap getting messed up....ok. But completely shredded??!! I'm so sorry that happened

I would get the invite from you aunt and bring it to the post office to show them. It can't compensate for what they did, but maybe they'll refund your money you spent on stamps.

I hate the post office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You know I sent out many STD magnets and at least 4 ppl told me they NEVER received them, including one of my BMS!!!!!! I don't know how I'm sending out my invites next month, but I doubt I'll use the USPS.

That happened to my friend last year!! It was horrible,,,she got a ton back shredded to pieces!! I couldnt believe it,,and she spent $1700 on them!!! That shouldve never happened,,,especially if they werent thick!!! JERKS!!

You still put a stamp like normal but you take them to the post office and ask for hand cancelling so they don't put it in the machine.
