I love this - very pretty and elegant. I also like that the opening is large enough to fit different envelopes...some others I've seen look so small.

Thanks so much ladies- The only really hard part was wrapping the box with the satin fabric- such a pain..but it was worth it- i like the finished product

hello all, This is a great idea and thanks for the picture. I had never thought about making a box, I have only seen people use a large glass bowl of some kind before.
I do not see any wine stains, must have been white wine!
It truly is beautiful and I love the concept of it so much, good job.
