You knew you loved your FI when...

when I broke up with him! We only dated four months, and were apart for about 5 months. I missed him so much, but was on this independence kick...I finally went running back to him.

He had a new girlfriend that he'd been seeing for months, and dropped her the very next day!

I don't think I had a defining moment that I knew - I guess it was always there.

If I had to say it was after our first fight. I knew it was an 'adult' fight - we were in it for the long haul and we made sure we worked through it. We both told eachother we loved eachother and that was it.

Just as we were crossing over from casual dating to seriously dating, I was going to a family reunion in south jersey. I was pleased he expressed an interest in coming. He could not have been more wonderful that weekend. I enjoyed seeing him in a different arena as we almost always spent time alone. He was incredibly attentive to me but super accomodating to my entire family and I just loved that.

It was also when he first told me he loved me.

I knew I loved him when we were getting very intimate and I was a virgin and was wondering if this was something I wanted to go for or wait. He told me that the choice was up to me because I had waited so long (I was 25).He said, ' If we were both 15, I would try to convince you that this is the greatest gift we could give one another, but we are 25 and you have waited a long time for this to be perfect. Why don't we wait a while longer?'

I was in love after that.

When he told me one of his 5 year goals was to get married. He really wanted a wife and family, he is such a sensitive, smart, and sexy man... I knew I had to have him the rest of my life....

I was sitting at a table at CPI's with friends and some random guy would not leave us alone, for a while. Nick was watching from across the room. We kept making eye contact, then he came over to our table, put his arm around me and said to the guy, Please leave my wife and her friends alone. The guy walked away and 2 years 9 months later we were married

What was even better was that we waited a few months longer and went to Paris for Valentine's Day and it happened there and it was wonderful!

He said he knew he loved me when I traveled to Poland with him and his family for his niece's communion.

Juliet! you just made all of the hairs on my leg that I just shaved grown back from the chills! lol BEAUTIFUL!

I knew I loved him after about 2 weeks.. he was my identical, my soulmate..

the funny thing is that about 2 months before we starting dating, My ex had dumped me and I was CRUSHED.. then Todd and I started dating and here comes in so-called mr. wonderful wanting to sweep me off my feet and give me all that I wanted. I had only been with todd about 2 weeks, and I knew right then and there that he was the one for me and I told the ex to go f*ck himself.. =)

Definitely the night I met him I knew I was GOING to love him. There was no doubt in my mind, but I would say probably the week we met, we spoke so much on the phone(he was in Boston, me on LI), and I just KNEW.

We were just sitting on his bed talking and he was blabbering about not wanted to ruin our friendship blah, blah, blah The whole time I'm thinking I love this man and am going to spend my life with him!! Of course he ended it a couple of days later But of course I was right because he came back and we were inseparable since then.
