I got addicted to this site (well almost addicted, still a fanatic...lol) because I got responses that I couldn't get from my friends and family...unbiased, totally helpful, honest, sincere, and empathetic. No one else I know is a bride in 2002/2003....so here, I met women who understand what I want, and why I want it, without asking 'BUUUUUTT WHHHHYYY?????'.

I think we are being crashed by too many Knotties that have total 'tude!!!

We were just commenting at work last night how everyone is so touchy and needs to lighten up! Must be going around...

I think maybe we should all just ignore the negative posts and the people we deem 'imposters' instead of creating threads that become 4 or 5 pages long. The more we post to them and explain ourselves the more it eggs the negativity on. Which is exactly what the person or persons posting mean or nasty things want. JMHO : ).

I think what happens is that people ask for advise but at times just want people to say 'that's great' or 'perfect' when in reality people do not agree and give other ideas/opinions.
We all get touchy over certain subjects (I am known for a not so nice answer on other boards when people ask 'Are cash bars okay').
Call people on it when you read those types of posts or bring the posts back to the topic at hand.

I agree with Karen - the fake brides and imposters are here to get everyone riled up and we fall for it every time.

I wish I had so much extra time that I would go out of my way to antagonize people I don't know. But, I don't have the time nor the desire to do that. :)

I totally disagree!!! Sorry, ladies... but not everyone has lost their cool. Yes, there have been 6 or 7 negative posts in the last few days but behind the scenes, all the ladies on here have been SSOOOO beyond wonderful.

Shamma- posted pics of shoes, which I loved and ultimately got as a result.... LNP was on the phone with me until the wee hours last night discussing problems with my photographer.... I did a quest yesterday about something as trivial as a mongrammed sweatshirt and rather than just tell me where to get it, Valenia did a friggin search and posted the links!!! Michele 31 sent me information of her bridesmaids dress on New Years Day!!! HillandRon hooked me up with the best Hawaii Travel Agent in America!!! And every day, someone FM's me about a potential make-up artist they think I would like!!!! These are just some examples.... I could go on and on with these above the call of duty examples!!

This board is STILL SO AWESOME!!! Spirits up!

There's a lot of truth to what Michele said - it's the pitfall of asking over 100 individual people for an opinion. You WILL get them and you may not like all of them.

Well said Sept20yay, let's not let the few and far in between negative get in the way of all our wonderful positives and all the wonderful ppl we've met here and all the valuable info we've shared with each other.

If the size of our next GTG is any indication, we've formed quite a community, and I think it's GREAT !!!!!!

I think everyone has the right idea. Ignore the negativer posts and they will go away. Everyone on here has be super helpful and so nice. Your always going to get one or 2 bad seeds but lets not let it ruin the nice group we have here

Lets just keep on typing like we all have been. I ignore the negative people and I don't respond when someone is being accused of being a vendor. Listen if a vendor is really that pathetic to post as a bride then they are hurting for business. knock your socks off. Once you are found out there will be no business going that way.

Some great info has been passed back and forth and great relationships have be formed and will contiue to be formed.....
