You know what bothers me???

Everywhere I turn I see this pics of Jessica Simpson where they are not the most flattering pics and maybe she did gain a few pounds.. but SHE IS NOT FAT and I'm sick and tired of hearing about it on TV, Us Weekly, News Day, AM NY! ALL OF IT! These stupid 'news' people are sending horrible mixed messages by calling someone fat like that! So what if she's 5 pounds heaver.. it might even just be the bizarre angle they shot the pics from! Or the outfit! Truth be told if anyone saw her on the street... NO ONE WOULD SAY OMG LOOK HOW FAT SHE IS!
All these companies try so hard to get the message across that it's OK not to look like a rail thin model who hasn't eaten in years.. then they turn right around and pull this sh*t! All that does is send mixed messages to young impressionable girls! So instead they post and write all about her weight because why? Because she isn't rail thin like a starving model?????? Is that right? You want to post a pic of Star Jones before and say hey this isn't a healthy woman... ok fine... but don't go posting pics of celebs who are still in a healthy weight range and call them fat!!!!! I give a BIG F U to all the companies who reported this 'news' about her!

I agree - she is not fat by ANY stretch of the imagination ... but that outfit was horribly unflattering on her!

I think if she wore a more flattering outfit (blech, high waisted jeans???), she would look so curvy and delish! JMO!

I just think it was an unflattering outfit and a bad angle shot of her. It S U C K S that she is being portrayed and ridiculed bc of how 'fat' she is. Sorry most of us tend to look like those unflattering pictures vs size 0's.

OMG thank you i was going on about this all day with FH she is in NO way shape or form fat so what if shes not 95 lbs.... i'm sorry but girls that skinny just look like they are ill to me.

Sometimes things look different in real life and in mirrors then they come across in pics. (who hasn't thought they looked good one night.. only to see a pic of themself and think OMG What was I thinking?) I don't think she was thinking she looked bad when she put it on. Yea it was a bad choice.. but that doesn't mean she's fat! And the fitness rolemodel right across that pic is EXACTLY the BS I'm sick of seeing and hearing about! Put those words across someone who REALLY is fat! She is normal! I can appreciate a NORMAL sized celeb more because they are more REAL! That's one reason why I Love Kate Winslet! She is average size! If they put more people out there who look more like normal people then there wouldn't be so much of this stigma with weigth and body dismorphia and all these eating disorders that young girls have. It's sad and pathetic!
To blast her for this and constantly post it all over the place.. I mean come on.. get over it! So what! All that does it create more bad than good!

Oooh ... I love Kate too. Hot mama for sure!

Don't get me wrong I think it is so stupid for the media to criticize her.
I have to honestly say that when I first saw her pics and before the media started talking about it I was like wow Jess looks a little bloated. I have to say that she did put on weight though, from looking at the pics. I just think that she was tiny before and now she got bigger in terms of being a normal size and people were not used to it and started talking about it.
Of course the way she dressed was super unflattering too.
