My husband jokes around with me... When we are out to dinner and the cell phone rings. He said as I was reaching for it, 'uh oh, It's LI Wedding calling. They are concerned that you haven't been on in five minutes. They want to make sure you are okay....'LOL!!!

And, I learn something each day from the boards. Like what is a wedding coordinator, where to find the best prices and where to register to get cash back for gifts!! Hello?!?! I so would not have thought of any of those on my own.

All of these are so true...I have been trying to book a photographer and I have no clue how people would do it without this site. When everyone try to give me recommendations for vendors and I don't see their name on here, I have such little confidence in it. I made a list of photographers just from doing searches on here...I can't wait to see how they go and post all of the info that I got from them. This site has made me feel so much more comfortable about the wedding plans. You girls are the best .

like you won't trust what your mom has to say b/c the last time she planned a wedding was 1970 but the girls on LIW have all the secrets. but then when mom mentions a vendor or place that has been talked about on LIW, suddenly, she has a little more credit! poor moms.
or when LIW changes it's color scheme or adds a new emote-icon or there is a new vendor ad and you notice it right away b/c suddenly LIW looks different then it looked 10 minutes ago!
you guys don't know how many engaged women i have waited on and right away, i ask them do you belong to LIW??? and when they say no, my stomach sinks, like why not?
