yep!! been there!!! I've walked in the door ar 6 am, as my dad said good morning to me, slept for 1 hour then went right out to work. I have no idea how I did that!

last friday night, our upstairs neighbor was walking around in her heels getting ready to go out. I said to FH, ' You know, 3 years ago, that was me in my heels. Now, i'm home on a friday night cleaning out our linen closet.' He said, 'We can go out if you want.' I said, 'No, i'm in my pj's and it's already 8. I'm tired.'

We should all open a nice Wine bar/lounge together- with comfy couches, soothing, subtle background music and intelligent people...
I'm so over the same old places--- they're all about finding the weekly hook-up.
My Dad yells at me all the time to stop acting like an old lady and go out-- but none of the places on Long Island are geared towards and upper 20's lower 30s crowd, or even towards couples...and I can't afford to go to Manhattan all the time.
Oh well, I've gotten used to movie night...

This happens to me all the time too ! We live near Mulcahy's bar & whenever we pass by I think about the days when we went there. Now I just want to go somewhere I can sit down & have a conversation without screaming over the music. And sometimes when we do make plans to go out i wish we could just stay home. What happened !!! lol
When I was at Mulcahy's a few years ago I ran into a girl I used to babysit for...it was heartbreaking. Talk about feeling old....( granted she was using a fake ID and about 4 years underage...)
