You + Open Bar at your wedding... do you have a plan?

I was reading the '06 post about 'the last half hour of my wedding I was ____' and a bunch of girls said they were hammered which surprised me.

Ive always said I probably won't start drinking until the last hour of my wedding because I tend to forget things when I drink.

Does anyone else have a plan in terms of how much you are going to allow yourself to drink?

my plan is to be dancing the last hour of the wedding!!!! and I don't plan on being drunk.

Im probably NOT going to be drunk at all... That happened at the e-party.. and the wedding is gunna be waaaay more hectic! Just didnt have the time to booze up

I don't want to get drunk during the reception. I will be drinking champagne probably all night but a little at a time- I want to remember EVERYTHING!! Then, afterwards, when we go over to the Inn I will be drinking more heavily!!!

I want to get a little drunk by the end of the night I will probably just nurse my drinks unless someone brings on the shots then it will be all over!!!!!!!!

Hmm im not 'planning' on getting drunk but it usually happens when i go out .. and what better night to be a rockstar then ur wedding...
then again its afternoon so that will save me a bit haha

ill get silly drunk at the 'after party'

At this point my only plan is not to drink anything with color (ie red wine, cosmos) I am a total klutz (especially when drinking) and I will spill all over myself. You have to see some of the bridesmaid dresses I've worn the next day

I plan on sipping during most of the evening and will probably unleash by the vienese hour.

i predict my drunkeness will just HIT me suddenly. cause i plan on having lots of champagne..and that sneaks up on ya!

I plan on NOT being drunk but a lil tipsy never hurt anyone, just wine nothing crazy. Want to remember every amazing detail of the wedding!

I am not planning on being drunk...I dont want to get drunk, I want to remember everything, I dont want to chance getting sick or being hungover the next day.

I have never been drunk. i know it sound crazy coming form a 25 year old but its true. never once been drunk. I will be damned if i get drunk at my wedding for the 1st time and end up making a fool of myself.

I agree.
Last month I attended a wedding and the bride spent half the night in the bathroom. Of course her mom and aunt were telling everyone about her nerves and how she had not eaten all day. BS
her BM's were telling everyone how the bride started drinking mimosa's while they were getting ready.

Nope NEVER.. i really done feel like im missing anything considering when we do go out so many people always ask me if im 'good' and they send drinks over and I pass then arond to freinds. lol
they always think im buzzing cuz im so upbeat but its a natual high.

My doctor has forbidden me from drinking with the exception of one glass of wine every now and then. So I really don't have to worry about getting drunk. But WOW do I miss my evening glass of wine

i want to have a good time and drink.....but fh said to keep it under control since he knows how i can get when i am out with my ladies! my fsil was gone for her wedding and danced all night, her dh had to meet and greet everyone by himself!! thats why fh is concerned!

I want to stick to one thing all night! Champagne!!!!!!!!! I am bringing a case of my fav. Moet Nectar Imperial (soooo yummy) and that's what I'll be having the whole night!!!!!
