I was reading the '06 post about 'the last half hour of my wedding I was ____' and a bunch of girls said they were hammered which surprised me.
Ive always said I probably won't start drinking until the last hour of my wedding because I tend to forget things when I drink.
Does anyone else have a plan in terms of how much you are going to allow yourself to drink?

Hmm im not 'planning' on getting drunk but it usually happens when i go out .. and what better night to be a rockstar then ur wedding... then again its afternoon so that will save me a bit haha

Probably not b/c I act really silly...
I mean, I'm giddy, silly, happy, clumsy, etc etc etc NATURALLY-- when I'm drunk those characteristics are brought out even more! So, I'll avoid that on my wedding day- I want to remember everything and really enjoy myself-- so just to play it safe I'll have one or two glasses of wine over the course of the day/night.

I def have a plan. I am sticking stricktly to coronas and only doing maybe 2-3 shots. That's it! No vodka drinks bc I get so F'd up and then can't remember a thing. My wedding ends at 4 so there will be plenty of drinking time in the evening!

I plan on not being drunk...I'm such a sloppy drunk, and I usually get sick the next morning...I'll watch myself and hopefully have a happy buzz late in the night

i don't want to be drunk, but i'm not planning on abstaining completely either. probably a couple of glasses of wine spread throughout the night.

At this point my only plan is not to drink anything with color (ie red wine, cosmos) I am a total klutz (especially when drinking) and I will spill all over myself. You have to see some of the bridesmaid dresses I've worn the next day
I plan on sipping during most of the evening and will probably unleash by the vienese hour.
LOL I'm the same way. My friends used to say the night didn't start until I spilled my drink. I didn't even think about drinking something with color!!

I will have about one drink per hour and then the last hour go a little crazy-but I don't want to be fall down drunk at our wedding.

I don't want to get drunk during the reception. I will be drinking champagne probably all night but a little at a time- I want to remember EVERYTHING!! Then, afterwards, when we go over to the Inn I will be drinking more heavily!!!
yeah not at the reception but def. at the after party.... just cause i don't want to drunk at my reception

Our plan was after the cake cutting we are going to start drinking. We are also have a after hours at the bar in the Hotel, so it wont be cool if the hosts are drunk and passed out

i dont plan on getting smashed,...but i am def having a few drinks....i gotta bc i will be the only sitting all night and not on the dance floor if i dont drink!!
