did any1 just pick a bridesmaid dress color then allowed the girls to get any dress in that color..how did this work and does any one have pics of these 'mismatched' results

I wanna do it too because I also want them to wear their dress again. I am letting BM's pick out something in ice blue and my MOH's (I have 2) pick out something in platinum. They are twins and I hope they pick the same dress cuz I think it is cute.

I think if you do that you have to pick designer AND color, that way you'll get the same color!

I picked out the color and I wanted them to wear seperates so each girl picked out what top they wanted.

I picked the color and they picked the dresses. My maids of honor did not get to pick. I decided I wanted both of them in the same dress.

I picked out the color and I let the BMs pick out whatever style dress the wanted. My BMs are all different shapes and sizes; therefore, I did not pick out a strapless dress b/c some of the girls that are blessed up top may feel uncomfortable. Plus I wanted them all to get a dress they would be able to wear again if they desire. So far all the girls are very happy with the dress they've picked. Happy BMs means they won't get on my nerves!!!!
