For all those sports fanatics out there, the Giants/Jets game has fallen on my wedding date. That's right folks, 10/7/07 will not only be the happiest day of my life, but it will also be the worst day for many of my friends and famliy, because they won't be able to see the game.

I want to incorporate something into my wedding day with the Jets since FH is a huge fan.

Anyone have any ideas?

So far, I'm thinking a groom's cake with half Jets, half Giants.

i feel your pain. my wedding falls on the Giants/Eagles game and it's a home game! good thing it's a night game. FH keeps kidding that him and his GM have plenty of time to make it to the game.

I'm pretty crazy but I'd love a TV at my reception showing the game...I love crazy sports fans!! I knew football season was NOT gonna happen for my wedding though. As FH says, every damn game counts. It's not like baseball where there's 162 games.

Believe it or not, even with my crazy Yankee theme, FH and I picked a date during baseball season! I had no choice, I'm a teacher. But we're Saturday ticket holders- and there's a game at home that very day!! FH keeps joking he's gonna hit the game and then come to the wedding. Um, impossible. Game's at 1, wedding's at 3:30! Our bleacher friends will be thinking of us on that day!

ETA: totally forgot, i was at a wedding during the ALCS Yankees/Red Sox 2003, the night we pummeled them. Then of course, the series turned for the worse. Anyway, this wasn't the fanciest of weddings so I don't think she cared that we were all at the bar watching the game!
