You won't believe what my In-Laws did on wedding day!

I was married recently. People's advice were things are going to happen on your wedding day that you can't control. So I was aware of this. My day was amazing except for 2 things.

I figured something would go wrong with the venue, or flowers etc. Not from my in-laws!

Long story short, I threw my bouquet and my new husbands Uncle, snatched it right out of my best friends hands! It was literally sailing right to her. She even looked at me in disbelief. I can't put in to words how much this ticked me off.
(of course he gave bouquet to his neice...)

Also , his 3 sisters were asked to be at my house 11am on day of. We were to leave w/ limo at 12pm. They were not at my house @ 12! I called his mom and they were not on they way. So we left w/out them!

What aggravated me more was they didn't apologize for being late. I was going to ask what happened. I realized there was no way I was going to be nice. So, I let them tell me how beautiful I looked and didn't say anything to them at all.

I'm still aggravated about bouquet. It's on video I'm sure and I'm NOt LOOKING forward to seeing it w/ his family. It really bothered me. Am I being a baby??

this is a good idea. maybe just show you setting up to toss and hten tossing it but cutting out who caught it?

Congratulations on your wedding. My advice is to let it all go. It will make you the bigger person and you have to find a way to live with your in-laws without making yourself crazy. Your sister-in-laws were so wrong but I bet you are the only one losing time and sleep over it.

Yup you are very right! I'm sure they don't care. I really need to focus on the positive things. It was the best day I had so much fun!

I'm still debating if I schould cut the uncle catching my bouquet from video. I'm going to call videographer on Monday and get his opinion.

Yup, that's exactly what I'm worried about. Watching the video w/ his family and getting into a tiff w/ them. Even if it was my uncle I would have still been upset.

I didn't want to ask the girls why they were late on wedding day. I was scared I would get rude and then it would ruin my day.

We left the next day early for honeymoon and I didn't want to ask then either. I was actually happy they weren't in the limo for the ride there. They annoy me.

I was annoyed they were held up the groomsmen from getting to venue on time to take pictures. At this point it is what it is I guess. I'm definately going to talk to photographer and I pray to god he doesn't tell me b/c they were late we didn't take alot of pics!

Then I can guarantee they will hear something!

***?? What a weirdo...sorry! What man does that?? Sheesh! At least it can be a semi-funny story 'hey listen what my hubby's weirdo uncle did...' LOL

This is what I was thinking too. Who does $hit like that and what possesses them to think its okay? Keep it out of the video was a good suggestion.

Ppl being late is just annoying, at least it didnt mess up your timeline too much. Glad everything else was amazing!
