EDT- 9/02 Friends apologized. I am feeling a little better. Thank you for all the warm thoughts!
I am going to say this.. I love my friends but,, I know I work a lot.. I have to work a lot right now in order to get things paid for. Not just the wedding but bills and other things.
I had to miss a BMs bday this week because it was in the Hamptons and I could not afford the $30 admission EACH for FH and I and gas and drinks.. I instead opted to take a OVERTIME shift at my normal job and made 3x's as much...
I NEED THE MONEY.. and have a really close GM to me giving me a hard time about it.. I feel awful
I can not wait till the wedding is done and there are less expenses. I know I work a lot.. but I have to do what i have to in order for things to work out.
Ps- I am working now. and my second job later tonight. I average 65-73 hours a week.

Kim, I know the feeling. I work 80 hours a week at one job. By the time I get home, I don't even want to do anything...even for myself. Don't worry our big days are quickly approaching

I too know the feeling.... My friend is mad at me BC I did not go got her Bach/Bridal Shower weekend......
They stayed at foxwoods for 2 nights.... dinner drinks dancing and then after all of that we had to be in RI at 10 in the morning for her bridal shower!!!!!! When I told her I couldn't make it she stoped talking to me!!!!!
She is getting married 6 Weeks b4 me .... you would think she would understand!!!

Why do people get like this!! I go to EVERYTHING I can!!! But the girl's who's birthday understood!! Other people are giving me a hard time!

Ask them if they want to pay the bills I don't work nearly as many hours as you but I know the stress. I worked f/t and a p/t job for many years when my children were younger. I know work f/t and started a business. I wish I could get another job to get caught up on the bills. FH is looking for o/t or another job, but o/t has been cut out. We are both working today/

I totally know what you are going through. It will get better and your friends will get over it. They will eventually see that sometimes we have to make grown up decisions instead of having fun!

Thats really annoying. DH and I stopped going out as much when we were planning for the wedding and we definitely heard it from our friends. Unless theyve been married or are getting married, they wont understand. The most annoying was when we heard things from our friends who still live at home with their parents. You just have to ignore people. Youre doing what you have to do to survive and if people dont get that tell them to kiss it.

You have to take care of yourself first. Some people may give you a hard time and make you feel guilty, but you should turn around and ask them if they will pay your bills. Dont feel bad, if anything your friends should understand

Awe Kim I know how hard you work and how annoying it is to hear about it all the time. You do what you have to do and your friends should understand but sometimes they don't. I hope you have a better night tonight!
