Our budget is set for $40k but it's shaping up to be around $35k. With the HM included, it's coming out to around $39k

$15 - 20K. That's the lowest we can hope for given our guest count (min of 75) and the vendors I am interested in booking. Its possible for any wedding to be done on much, much less $$ but you risk having a lot of things go wrong (vendors showing up late, quality of services not as good). Also DIY projects can take up a lot more time than initially expected.
We can afford this based on savings and that FH and I are lucky to have a decent income and the fact that my parents are donating $$ toward some items like my dress, veil and invitations, otherwise we would probably just get a 3-5 year long engagement to save up $$$. however we are not going to into any debt and if there is something that makes us go over the 20K max figure, then we are just not getting it!
My budget is 30k. so far I added everything up yesterday without photo/video( FIL's are paying),florist(jhavent booked yet or looked at this), invites(mom is paying), dress(grandparents got that) and favors we are only at $18k.

See my budget is low since Me and my FI are trying to save money to buy a House here on LI... and for anyone who lives out ehre... they know house up here are EXPENSIVE!
besides... probably we will have only have TOPS 50 guest...

My FH and I had initially decided our budget would be 35,000 tops but now we think it may be inching past the 40,000 mark. The most important parts of the wedding for us is the venue and the photographer and they really eat up a chunk of the budget.

I chose 20,000-30,000. Ideally I would like it to be under 20Gs but I think it will be a little over. Reception all alone is about $15,000. I'm hoping it will be closer to $20,000 than $30,000. Wishful thinking...

omg! Thats' my problem too! me and FH are both italian! lol
