Not weird at all!!!! We picked our date because I love the fall and we didn't want to have the wedding on a holiday weekend, also because the date was open but I love the even 10/20!!!!

we picked it because its a holiday weekend (columbus day) and since its a sunday wedding we figured many people will have off monday

The Sunday before a holiday was our reason as well.

1/20/08

We're having a Sunday night wedding in the winter (our dream) - so we went with the Sunday before the Monday of Martin Luther King Jr. day - since most people have off!

No particular reason.
Just wanted a fall wedding between the time the weather is to hot and too cold.
RH has this and a few other dates open.

we picked a thursday because we have a ton of family flying in and it gives us the weekend with them...especially the ones from out of the country .....also I find thursdays have always brought me great things....both my boys were born on thursdays !!!

Because w eare going to Greece on our honeymoon and I heard that September was the best time to go. lol

1. I wanted summer time cause it's my favorite time of year - PLUS, I worked for a college sports TV network, and I knew I could take as much time as I want off in the summer.

2. The specific day - Friday cause it was cheaper - and 7/13 is Friday the 13th and I just thought that was so cool! People would never forget it AND I didn't have a problem finding vendors that are available.......

He's a teacher so we have to get married in the summer so in August of 08 we make 8 years together so we thought 08-08-08 made perfect sence.

I wanted to be married in the fall - the exact date was a combination of working around a our schedules and my cycle, LOL.

We picked the date we did because my brother, in the Navy, gets leave in October. He gets 2 weeks so we wanted to do something in the middle of the month, to make sure it landed in his 2 weeks and the anniversary of our first date is the 19th. Oh and that's the day the hall we wanted had open. Now lets just hope my brother can make it.

Well, we wanted a fall wedding but we basically picked our date b/c, well, rates for some places go down in Nov and usually the weather is still pretty mild in the beginning of the month, plus fall foliage is at it's peak right about then.

Fri. night weekend of Memorial Day! All of my guests are from out of town. (I moved a lot growing up) We have LasVegas, Boston, Rochester NY, Pittsburgh, Colorado and my Daddy in SanDiego! All of FH's family is local. I figured all my family and friends could make a vacation out of it! Plus an extra day of Honeymoon that doesnt count as time off! Always a plus
