I'm also getting married in November '07 and I was going to start looking at the end of the summer...I've been browsing through magazines but figured I'd wait to actually try on dresses.

I put a small depoist on mine, Being its a 2006 collection, i dont want to chance it getting discontinued, so with that deposit , they run a 'scan' on it each week to make sure the designer doesn not disscontinue it, if they plab on it i get a call to go in & get fitted,

i already have my dress...and i'm getting married august 07...its sitting at my mom's house in the closet..anxiously waiting to be worn

My wedding is also Nov. 2007 and I got my dress last month. I have it in my closet and I'm not taking it out until it's time to do alterations. I found it, and didn't want to lose it so I ordered it.

I'm going shopping for the first time in early June and will more than likely order it in June. My wedding is in May. I think 11 months is more than enough time. I know brides that did it within a 6 month window. I know that's a little close but is possible.

I already ordered mine and it should it in around Aug. so I will have it 7 months in advance...
My advice is TAKE YOUR TIME! Don't rush!!! I did and I really regret not looking further, there are tons of dresses out there to be explored, If I could do it over again I wouldn't have ordered mine until the end of the Summer.

I have been browsing and saw a couple of things I really like. My wedding is July 07 so I figure I should have my search narrowed down by August or early Oct.

I ordered my dress on Saturday nad I am getting married in June of 07. They told me it will take about 6-7 months to come in so I will have it like 6 months before I need it. I'd rather allow extra time then be worried.

I'm getting married in November 07 too. I think I'm going to start looking for my dress sometime in July. I heard you have to give at least a year in advance, but I would anyway just to be on the safe side.

I do know you can get a dress in about 3 months because we planned a wedding for my cousin in 3 months and she got her dress back like a month in a half. I guess it all depends on what you have to do also. I will probably order mine or narrow my search down by like Nov. for an July 07 wedding only because I have 3 weddings coming up that Im a part of and I need to get those out the way.

my wedding is 7/1/7 and i jsut ordered my dress.
i would say look around for now to get an idea of what you like and what looks good...

maybe order in dec.06..

I started looking about 3-4 wks ago and my wedding is Oct. 2007. I wanted to look now because I wanted to make sure I had enough time to find the perfect dress and not be rushed... plus with alterations and stuff it's good to have a lot of time. I think I found one and might be ordering in July. Less stressful ..and thats always a good thing
