Hi Ladies- I'm looking for your recommendations on what your favorite cruise lines are & why. I'm especially curious if anyone has done a european cruise & what line they've been on! Thanks for the input- I've never cruised before & I'm trying to gather info for HM plans! Oh- and for those that have cruised before do you normally book direct, through a ta or online? I know its alot of questions- so thanks for the help!

i have been on celebrity 2 times, yea its an older crowd but the level of service is amazing. We really just stay in the room and sleep late, we get a table for 2, just slip the maitr'd 20 bucks and that shoudl take care of any table problems lol

Just wanted to update -- my parents just came back from a Princess cruise two days ago and said they dont think they'd ever cruise Princess again. Not that it was bad, but it wasn't up to par with Royal or Carnival. Food wasnt as good, crowd was too old, entertainment wasnt very good, and there wasnt as much to do on board.

i just got back from my hm... we went with celebrity. i would not recommend them.
it seemed that EVERYONE was 100yo with walkers or wheelchairs. don't get me wrong, i love older people. but it just felt 'slow'.
also... the food and food service wasn't 'all that'.
i'm hoping to go on another cruise soon... will be trying another company.
just my 2 cents

Wow, am I the only Norwegian fan? I just can't get enough of freestyle crusing. Royal Caribbean would be #1A though
