YES... without a doubt!
I loved it on the hanger and when I put it on and looked in the mirror, me and my mom burst into happy tears.

As soon as she zippered the dress up I knew it was the one. I fell in love w/ the dress right away, and as soon as i stepped out my mom started crying. Finally after 15 dresses I found 'the one'

It was the 1st one I picked out in the magazine and the 1st one I tried on and even though I tried on 12 more...I just knew it was the one

It was the first dress we pulled out of the rack......It was the third rack in, third dress in, and third dress put on...... getting married on the third! 3 has always been a lucky number for me my birthday is a combo of the number 3.

no, I never got the 'this is the one' feeling to be honest. I tried on a few, ended up buying the 1st one I tried on.

Yes I did! When I saw it on the rack I said - oh no, that's not for me. But my MOH was with me and she forced me to try it on. It was the first dress I tried on and when I saw myself in it I knew it was the one. All the other dresses I put on afterward didn't compare! I'm still waiting for an excuse to wear it again. I've been married 5 months and I keep putting off sending it for preservation because I want to put it on again!

Nope, didn't get that 'It's the one' feeling. I narrowed it down to two and then chose the one I kept thinking about more. Definitely didn't have any big emotional certainty or anything though. Oh well.

I still love my dress though so it was a good decision.

Honestly... No. I knew what I liked, and basically was able to narrow it down to 3, then 2... and i ultimately chose my dress. I'm completely happy with it, and know i will look beautiful...

However, not to offend anyone here... but i found the most frustrating thing about dress shopping is that it seemed like I kept hearing from people that 'i would know when i found 'the one'' well, i probably tried on close to 100 dresses, and i'm not a cryer, nor is my mom, so that wasn't gonna help me... and I didnt know it when I first tried on my dress that it was 'the one'

Part of it is not having tried it on in the color I wanted the first time.... i will tell you I knew when i tried on something I didnt like... but as for 'the one' i really didnt get that, and hearing that everyone was telling me I should 'get it' I felt like I was missing something... so dont think you ahve to feel fireworks when you put on this gown that you'll wear on yoru wedding.

That is exactly how I feel. I know that I will look great in the dress and I know I will be happy, but I did not get the Oh my GOD feeling.... I will go to a couple of more places and if I still dont get that feeling I am going to buy the dress that I like and I know I will be happy!! Thanks girls! you rock!

thanks for posting this ladies

see this is going to sound conceited and i dont mean to be - but i absolutely LOVED every dress i tried on . . . even if i didnt love the dress - i loved the way it looked on me. . . it was the funniest thing, i think i just liked looking like a bride - even my mom, sister and cousin that were there were making me try on these hideous dresses and they STILL looked nice on me and everyone loved it - it was actually funny

so when i found this Jasmine dress that i am leaning towards. . i loved the actual dress more than the others but i never got that OMG feeling because technically, i got excited about each dress!

i think this dress may be the one because it is the only dress that i have stared at for hours and still havent found a fault with - but who knows? lol
ETA: it is frustrating to hear that i am supposed to freak out when i see THE dress. . .it is good to know i am not a freak and other people have felt like this! i do feel like i am missing out on something. . .but seriously, i know if i DO go with this dress i will love it that day too!
