Your not going to believe what happen to me today!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well today I told my job I was putting my two weeks in because I found another job, well my boss stops me outside as I was coming in today to work and askes me to help her bring in her two little sons, I took off a few personal days this week to deal with some stuff so she asked me if everything was alright and I told her no, I needed to put my two weeks in blah blah blah as we are walking in, we are talking and I'm telling her my last day will be may 11th, well me not knowning that im walking into a SURPRISE BRIDAL SHOWER!!!!!!!!!!!! Just after I told my boss I'm putting in my two weeks!! I felt like such a jerk. I was a mess crying because of the thought that I was leaving and because of the beautiful shower. All the girls were soooo sweet and brought in food, drinks and gifts for me, not knowning I JUST told my boss I'm leaving. Well news got around real fast there and I felt soo dumb after all they just did. Just my luck!!! I have such bad luck. so I had a really nice bridal shower at my job after I just quite lol
But I am so thankful for the shower and gifts and knowning that they weren't mad at me. They are great girls and I'm going to miss them

Aw, well that was really thoughtful of them and im sure they did it out of the goodness of there hearts bc they care about you, and you had no way of knowing it was going to happen right then but im sure it doesnt change how much they care and wish you well. dont feel bad!!! stuff like that happens to all of us, its life. just enjoy the nice time you had and express your gratitude.

Wow, what are the ODDS of that??? But hey, you have to do what is right for you, and at least no one was upset with you! THat was really nice of them!

Tara you did what is best for you. It stinks that this is how it went down, but its the best thing for you. Congrats on the new job and the shower.

I am not going to lie, you have bad luck; that's a pretty sticky situation and the odds are REALLY low....

I would have felt nervous and upset as well!!!

that being said, these things happen in life, try not to harp on it.

did you leave your current job for a new, better one or bc you didn't like your boss?

if you left to better yourself, you had to do it and just make sure they know how appreciative you are and keep in touch with them!

think of it this way, if they would've thrown u the party B4 u spoke to ure boss...u would've felt guilty quiting and maybe held back...so I think its actually the better of the 2 scenarios!
