So my day is approach, OMG! So my mother and I were talking about my day of jewelry. My mother (Mrs. Jewish Guilt 2007) was saying that she thinks I really should wear a necklace. I wasn't planning on wearing a necklace because my dress has so much detail. Also, I want these chandler art decco earrings. Also, my head piece has enough jewels. Do you think it is necessary to wear a necklace? I am not into GLITZ!
Nah, you have enough glitz, you don't need the necklace.

Re: Your oppinion
I think an sparkly necklace could end up competing with you gown and headpiece (which is gorgeous!)

Re: Your opinion
The top of your dress has enough detail that you don't need a necklace imo.

Re: Your opinion
Try it all together. Then you'll know if you need something else (use loaner necklace).

Re: Your opinion
I didn't get one (and my dress has lots going on up top), but another bride had used a necklace & it looked great....really great....so much that I doubted my decision. It's all personal.

Re: Your opinion
Definitely no necklace with that gown. It's gorgeous! I wore the same earrings.

Re: Your opinion
No necklace. Unless you find a nice simple one that you like.

Re: Your opinion
I won't worry about the necklace. Earrings and headpiece are sufficient. My dress has alot of detail in the bodice too and I will not be wearing a necklace either, only earrings and a headpiece.

Re: Your opinion
I'm a fan of the 'simple, but elegant' look... so I'd say no necklace. You have just the right amt of sparkle right now... why add more on, you don't wanna overpower yourself with your jewlery You're gonna look gorgeous, and ps I love your mom's sn!! that's hilarious!

Re: Your opinion
If you do a necklace, I would just do a small delicate diamond solitaire.

I agree, it might be overload.

Re: Your opinion
I really don't think that you need a necklace it would take away from your dress.

I am not wearing a necklace either and our bodices are similar. I think chandelier earrings will look fabulous!

Re: Your opinion
I think you'd have to try it on, but I think the earings are enough.
However, someone suggested to me that you should wear a glitzy necklace with a glitzy dress because if you have a lot of glitz and a bare neck it looks like it just stops and sparkly necklace completes the glitz! (not me saying it. someone told it to me)
I just say try it on and take a picture to see how you feel.

Re: Your opinion
You may not need a necklace. If you do one one (sonds like u dont) then maybe a thin chain with a small drop or something. Not like the Harry Winston glitz themodel has on.
