The best part was that he completely took me off guard and said the most perfect things in the world and then asked me to marry him and I thought he was kidding!

him hugging me - and then opening the box - and showing it to me - and me YELLING at him asking him 'what is that???' 'what is that???' 'what is that???' 'what is that???' then when reality hit - i sd - you have to put it on me?!?!!?! and then he sd FINE - and went down on one knee and sd 'will you marry me' then i YELLED YES!!

We were on a cruise to the Bahamas when we went to the front of the ship to check out the rock climbing wall...There was no one around since we just got on the boat. When he leaned into my ear ...told me he had something to tell me He said he loved me and that there was a question that he wanted to ask me...then he put his hand on my waist and went down on one knee and asked 'WILL YOU MARRY ME?'
i think i was cursing for like 5 minutes and i didnt even look at the ring because i thought it was a joke!!!
but when i finally did look at the ring...I put it on and he asked.....well are you gonna say yes?
i paused and said YES YES!!!!

We have been together for 5 years 3 months and 1 day before we got engaged. Anytime the engagement question got brought up he always said that he would never ever do it on a holiday. So Christmas morning comes and we wake up like at 8am (like little kids). He gives me my gifts, I give him his and then hey gives me my stocking. I see there is a box on the bottom but b/c its Christmas...HOLIDAY Im not expecting anything. Im thinking to myself I got earrings!! WEll...I opened it up and I started crying like a baby...then I yelled at him!! LOL I think I yelled b/c he really got me good. It was the bestest Christmas ever!!!!

The whole thing, I just wish i hadnt been crying so hard and could have heard what he was saying.
I think the best part though is the guy who went by screaming congratulations. To which I turned to look and continued crying

I don't know if this is the best part of the proposal but it is def the funniest. I was in such shock after he put the ring on my finger that my left hand and arm turned ice cold and went totally numb. It was like that the rest of the day!

hmmm how FUN the night was...how i wouldnt eat the food so shoved it on FH's plate and he actually ate it(didnt know why at the time) and how it was pouring and windy and he got down on one knee standing on the promenade..i just LOVE that day

THE BEST PART O HIS PROPOSAL IS THAT HE DID IT IN FRONT OF ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY. I DIDN'T HAVE TO REPEAT THE STORY A HUNDRED TIMES OF HOW HE DID IT, CAUSE THEY WERE THERE!!!

my NY yankee build a bear he got me as part of the proposal.. He recorded his voice saying 'will you marry me?' so i will have it for the rest of my life.. or the rest of the batteries lives...
