BBB Kohl's and I am thinking about Disney Honeymoon Registry. Guests can buy Disney merch, gift cards, etc. FMIL said it was tacky, but everyone else thinks it's a great idea.

They even have 'mock tables' set up where you can set up the patterns that you like to get an idea of how everything looks together.
i made my own mock table at C&B lol. I grabbed a bunch of dishes, table linens, glasses and silverware and set everything up on one of their tables. one of the sales reps was like 'um, did you need help?' i was like haha nope, i've got it under control
it definitely helps to see everything together, so if your store doesn't have a formal mock table, make your own!

We did BBB and Macys. Macys has a great registry deal. For every dollar spent, you get money back after your wedding.

I'm having a huge problem with this! My mom says I shouldn't do a registry and put on the invitation, 'monetary gifts preferred.' I think that is soooo tacky and want to do a registry to give people the option between giving money and purchasing a gift. FH and I have been living together almost 3 years and the apartment is completely furnished. We wasnt to buy a house soon after the wedding and I don't think it makes since to have to carry all the gifts with us to a new home. So far, I don't know what to do. Lol, I think I need to create a chate for this one
