there are tons of lists on what should be on your registry. we have all seen that. But my question to you all is what are a few key items that you must have? anything from a certain product that you are soo in love with, or some item that is normally not on those 'registry lists'
im working on my registry now (updating it for the 10th time.... especially since i had almost everything on my fortunoff registry..... grrrr)
one of my items that i absolutely need is a new down comforter and im sooo excited to get it and use it.

Re: your registry must haves
I actually just took a print-out of my registries and I put a * by the items that I really want - in case anyone asks my mom...
Those items are:
Le Creuset Garlic Casserole -A pretty wine rack from BBB -A scroll, wrought iron cookbook holder -2 Waterford crystal champagne glasses -Lenox silver plated frame/album -KitchenAid pasta making attachment
And every utensil I have on the registries - I can't wait to get all of the gadgets!!!

Re: your registry must haves
We already live together and before FH moved in, my brother and I lived together. I have my mixer, processor, etc. My bro and I both cook A LOT. So I am going to have a small registry. New linens, everyday dishes and a dining room set. What we really need a new one of is a Convection Oven. Ladies, you should def look into one. It helps cut cooking time up to 30%... besides, the one I have is a rotisserie, convection and reg toater oven. Beats having the oven on in summer months. I may also resgister for a new Slow Cooker... LOVE mine, but may be too small.
The other registry will be a honeymoon registry with someone like Liberty Travel. FH and I travel so much, it'll be the best gift people give us (and they know it).

Re: your registry must haves
It all depends on what you are going to use and what your lifestyle is like.
I love to cook and entertain while my friend (and maid of honor) never cooks and eats pizza at least once a day and mostly relies on frozen meals and take out. Her registry is really bare... she doesn't even have pots and pans or knives on her registry. I got her a toaster oven from her registry because I know she'll use it to heat up bagels and chicken fingers because she loves 'kid' foods like that.
Me, I really want my all clad pots and pans and my Global knives. I have the Global chef's knife and good knives make such a difference. I also really want my fancy china, Lennox Pearl Innocence, because I love to entertain and look forward to having holiday dinners at my house.
Let your registry reflect your personality. If you like wine, add nice glasses and the rabbit bottle opener and maybe even a wine fridge. If you like to entertain, get some great serving pieces and if you like to bake, the kitchen aid mixer and a food processor are a must. If you like to travel, add some great luggage or a honeymoon registry.

I have a lot of cooking items on my registry that I'd want but the top two items I'm hoping to get are 1) a mandolin 2) steam cleaner spray bottle - I'm friggin obsessed with this thing
