Just trying to get a feel for what your regular jean size is vs. the dress size you ordered. I bought my dress of the rack and its a bit snug. Just want to see what normal wiggle room based on your answers!

Im a 12, dress 16.

i havent done dress shopping yet, but the BM dress i have for my friends wedding is a 12, and i am a 5/6...but the dress was too big in the chest area, way to big, they had to take it in a lot all over, so i think they ordered it too big

I wear a street size 10 and had to order a size 18 in my dress. My boobs were the issue, guess it could be worse right

That's my worse nightmare! I wear a mens 44 jacket! Yup, but you would never know looking at me that I am a broad broad!

For a BM's dress I wore a street size 7 and had to order a dress size 18! I got my moneys worth in alterations though!

Yep me too.. regular clothes 12/14 and the dress was a 20.

Recently I was a bridesmaid though and got a 16...so who knows?

I usually wear an 8 and my dress is a 10..... some dresses I tried on were like a size 12 or 14- and they were not big on me at all!!! But every salon assusred me that all wedding dresses run on the small size.

normal clothes=6
wedding dress=8
The top will have to be taken in a tiny bit.

I'm normally a kids size 14. Though I did find a size 5(jrs) short. The dress size is 10.

I ordered the 6~ and will cease eating for 4 months b4 the wedding!

I'm normally an 8 and I ordered a 4! I'm proasbaly the only person in the world to do this. I have really wide hips which determine my usual dress size, but in a poofy A line dress, my size was more based on my non existant chest

I wear a size 4 and ordered a size 8 dress. They took it in a bit but it was def comfortable

I'm usually between a size 10 and a 12, and I ordered a size 12.

I think it depends on the designer - the lady at the shop said that the designer of my dress actually runs pretty true to regular street-clothes sizes.

I'm a little worried....i wear between a 0 and a 2 and they ordered me a 10. It's mostly b/c of my chest, but i'm getting worried it is going to either fall off me or required a ton of alterations.
