Where are you having your shower? I just started thinking about this today and I'd be curious to hear fromt he ladies who've already booked!

I went to a shower recently at the George Washington Manor and it was really nice!

Well mine is going to be a complete surprise....but I *think* it might be at my sister's house. She has a HUGE house in Muttontown and has been known to host parties of 100+ people there, so having a shower there wouldn't be totally out of the question.

I'd love to have it at Alice's Tea Cup in the city, but it's a PITA for some people to get there. It's still a contender though.

But if that doesn't work out, then Austin Ale House in Queens. I love it, I'm there like every weekend, their food and service is great, and it's right in the 'hood.

I love Alice's it is super cute - I would love to have my shower in the city but yes, FH's family is all from way out in Suffolk and it would be a huge pita - also, probably a pita to get the gifts home, right?

mine will prob be in my parents backyard - or maybe my sisters house? i think they're gonna try to surprise me but since i live in VA and don't come up more then once a month - i dont know how much of a surprise it will really be!!

I have no idea. I told my MOH to save money just to have it at my house but after looking at the possible guest list I don't think that will be possible. So it may be at a restaurant.
