well i did say that too...it takes forever to open up the gifts...and as someone who has been to a ton of bridal showers, honestly, i don't like just sitting there watching the bride open each gift. at least this way i have more time to talk with each guest. -jmo

I went to a friend's shower where they requested the gifts be unwrapped, and they set up everything on a table with a sign that said who gave it. It was really cute, they jazzed it up with decorations and 'XX's Bridal Salon' and hung family member's wedding dresses around.

The only con: not enough alcohol!

My friend did this and on the invitation it read 'Be a dear - wrap in clear.'

Does anyone know if there's a polite way to ask guests to write their gift on the inside of their card as well?

I asked that instead of a wishing well they get gifts for FH...

He got random tools and such.... much more usefull IMO

LOL I gave my mom and sister specific instructions on the theme, the games to play, what I want, etc. hahahahaha

yeah. it's just pain in the freakin' butt!!!! lol And if someone misses something it makes writting TY's harder.

OH, which I bought yesterday, my TY cards. I was in target and I saw these cute one's on the 30% off rack and got then for like $1.30 something for 8!

NO GAMES!!!!!!!!

oh and my favorite cake in the world!!

Tell your mom or MOH or anyone to bring tape and tape the card to the gift so you know who sent it... unless you want to keep the cards themselves
